ABOUT US

AMG was founded in 1954 by Bill Proffitt and Anna Roberts when the Television Market was surging. Originally a warehouse chain for which the programming would be accessible, the company set it's final trajectory to Media Licensing and Management in 1989.  in 2022, a 10 year financial partnership and distribution deal was proposed between AMG and Paramount Global.

Rick Proffitt II assumed full ownership of KittyCity Worldwide and AMG up until 2023, when both were undergoing Damage Control from multiple PR disasters, resulting in a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, and law firms urged a full rebranding. After the deal was reached in October of the same year, KittyCity Worldwide (including all subsidiaries/affiliated trademarks) merged into AMG, with the names still in use today. As of 2025, Proffitt holds 30% equity in AMG and controls the Media and PR departments, while Paramount holds 70% equity and controls the Fiinancing and Legal departments.​
